Description
This is a vintage Seiko automatic wristwatch, reference number 6106-8237, often referred to by collectors as the Blue Crush. The timepiece is constructed with a cushion-shaped stainless steel case and an integrated stainless steel link bracelet featuring a folding deployment clasp. The dial is a sunburst blue and is fitted with applied rectangular hour markers, luminous hands, and a day-date aperture located at the 3 o’clock position. Dial markings include SEIKO AUTOMATIC, WATER 70m RESIST, 17 JEWELS, and JAPAN 6106 -8269T. The screw-down case back is inscribed with the Seiko logo, reference number 6106-8237, WATER RESISTANT, STAINLESS STEEL, JAPAN F, and the serial number 120748. Based on the serial number and movement, the watch likely dates to February 1971. A personalized cursive engraving reading L. B. Robinson is present on the case back.

Condition report:
The watch is in used condition with heavy signs of wear. The crystal is densely scratched across its entire surface, which obscures the dial. The stainless steel case and bracelet show numerous scratches, scuffs, and accumulated grime in recessed areas. Luminous material on the hands and markers shows age-related discoloration. The movement has not been tested for functional operation or timekeeping accuracy. Box and papers are not present.
