Description
A lot of two vintage Tiffany and Co. quartz desk or travel clock inserts, dating to approximately the 1980s. Both units are constructed with gold-tone metal cases and feature white dials with stylized black Arabic numerals. The first clock is marked Swiss Made and features a three-hand movement with a center seconds hand. Its reverse consists of a metal backplate with two brass mounting posts. The second clock is marked France and includes an alarm complication with a dedicated alarm hand. The reverse of the French model is fitted with a tan plastic movement housing that includes adjustment knobs for time and alarm, an alarm toggle switch, and a battery compartment. Both dials bear the Tiffany and Co. and Quartz branding.
Dimensions: 3 X 3 X 1 inch.
Condition report:
Both cases exhibit visible surface wear, scratches, and tarnish consistent with age and use. The Swiss-made model is missing its rear adjustment knobs. Both items are untested and will likely require new batteries.
