Description
This is a large-scale radio-controlled (RC) model of the tugboat Mr. Darby, produced from a kit by Dumas. The vessel is identified by the name Samson applied to the bow. The model features a molded hull, likely fiberglass, painted in a red and black color scheme. The superstructure is constructed from wood and plastic components, finished in white and gray. Scale details include an orange deck crane, life rings, metal railings, wire masts, and several hand-painted crew figures. An interior view reveals a wooden support structure housing Futaba S148 servos, a Futaba radio receiver, a battery pack, and a power switch. Two Lyman lead ballast weights are mounted in the bottom of the hull. The model is mounted on a simple black wooden display stand. A remote control transmitter is included.

Condition report:
The model is in good overall condition with some surface dust and minor wear consistent with use and storage. The paintwork is well-maintained. Internal electronics appear intact but have not been tested for functionality.
