Description
This color serigraph, titled Romance, is executed in the style of an impressionistic painting. The scene depicts a woman in a blue dress seated in profile against a backdrop of vibrant floral arrangements. The work is hand-signed by the artist Herve Fenouil in the lower-right corner and is numbered 212/350 in the lower-left corner. The title Romance is inscribed in the lower center of the print. The artwork is presented with a cream-colored mat in a decorative gilt-finished frame. No publisher or printer stamps are visible.
Framed dimensions 30.5 X 27 X 1.5 in.
Condition report:
The print appears to be in good overall condition with no visible foxing or fading to the image. The reverse of the frame shows significant water staining across the center of the backing board, which indicates a risk of moisture exposure to the paper. The gilt frame shows minor surface wear and abrasions consistent with age.
