Description
This work by artist G.H. Rothe, titled Morning, is a mezzotint painting on paper depicting two horses, one white-grey and one chestnut, rearing and facing each other within a rolling green landscape. The piece is a limited edition, hand-signed G.H. Rothe in the lower right margin and numbered 18/200 in the lower left margin. The title is inscribed in the center lower margin. The print is housed in a contemporary wood-tone frame featuring a black mat and a thin gold-tone inner fillet. A label on the reverse indicates the piece was purchased from the Center Art Gallery in Honolulu, Hawaii, and states that it was framed using conservation materials.

Condition report:
The artwork appears to be in very good condition, with no evidence of foxing, toning, or fading visible under glass. The frame shows only minor surface wear.
