Description
This mid-20th-century painting is executed in watercolor with gouache highlights on paper. The composition depicts a rural Spanish village scene featuring traditional elevated granaries and a wooden cart wheel in the foreground. The work is rendered in a loose, expressive style with a muted palette of earth tones and grays. It is signed in red paint at the lower left Coelho and dated 64. The painting is presented in a gold-toned wooden frame under glass with a white mat. The reverse features a label from Gandia Arte Contemporaneo over a heavily torn and damaged gray paper dust cover.
