Description
This glazed porcelanin figurine is identified as the Lladro Hawaiian Dancer, model number 1478. The piece depicts a kneeling young woman in a Polynesian style, portrayed bare-chested and wearing a sarong with hand-painted blue and pink floral motifs. She is shown holding a woven-textured basket containing an assortment of delicate, multi-colored applied ceramic flowers. A similar floral element is tucked into her dark hair. The base includes further applied floral accents. The underside of the base displays a printed mark featuring a stylized monogram above the words TORRALBA and HAND MADE IN SPAIN, accompanied by a faint impressed character.

Condition report:
The figurine is in excellent condition. A visual inspection shows no chips, cracks, or evidence of professional repair to the delicate edges of the veil or the extremities. There is minor surface shelf wear and light soiling on the unglazed foot rim of the base.
