Description
A Royal Copenhagen porcelain serving dish in the Blue Fluted Full Lace pattern. The dish is marquise-shaped with a pointed oval form and a fluted exterior body. It features hand-painted underglaze blue floral and foliate motifs arranged in four panels radiating from a central floral spray. The rim is designed with a delicate pierced openwork or full lace border accented with blue paint. The underside of the base displays a green circular stamp with a crown, the words ROYAL COPENHAGEN DENMARK, and three blue wavy lines. Below the wavy lines is the fractional mark 1 over 613, representing the pattern and model numbers. Handwritten blue characters 7 Y B x are also present on the base.
Dimensions: 10 X 5 X 1 inch.
Condition report:
This item is in excellent condition. There are no visible chips, cracks, crazing, or evidence of repair. Minor shelf wear is present on the unglazed foot rim.
