Description
This is a pair of salad serving utensils, including one spoon and one two-tined fork, designed by Arthur Court. The set is made of sand-cast aluminum featuring a stylized cobra motif. The handles are sculpted to resemble the textured, coiled bodies of snakes, with the functional ends of the pieces shaped like flared cobra hoods. Each piece is marked on the back of the handle with Copyright © Arthur Court 1980 Taiwan.
Dimensions: 11 X 3 X 1 inch.
Condition report:
The set is in good vintage condition. There is visible surface wear and minor oxidation consistent with the age of the pieces. A darkened patina is present within the recessed details of the casting. No significant structural damage, deep gouges, or repairs are present.
