Description
This mid-century oil on canvas painting depicts a bustling Parisian street scene rendered in an expressionist style. The composition features a crowd of pedestrians in the foreground flanked by multi-story buildings and a high wall with trees to the left, all set under a clouded, atmospheric sky. The work is executed with heavy impasto brushwork likely applied with a palette knife. The painting is signed Broda in the lower right corner, with the letters clearly distinguishable in the thick paint. The canvas is mounted on wooden stretcher bars and is unframed. The verso reveals two faint circular stamps on the left and bottom stretcher bars and a handwritten number 300 on the right bar.

Condition report:
The painted surface is stable with no visible signs of craquelure or paint loss. The reverse of the canvas shows light staining and foxing.
