1825-1835, oils on canvas. A lady and a gentleman, both in black, she wears a lace bonnet and collar, the collar with a gold brooch, he wears a black cravat. Condition: Both have been laid down on board; they appear to have been folded vertically, and he has a 3.5" repaired tear at the left margin.
