Possibly Salem, Massachusetts, 1790-1810, mahogany. With inlaid and veneered decoration, and tapered legs with inlaid cuffs. 29.5" high, 36" wide, 17.75" deep (closed). According to Mrs. Brown’s notes, this table came out of 53 Summer St., Salem, MA–the same house as the blue sea chest in this auction. Condition: Old refinish; top is detached, but undamaged (just needs longer screws to keep it in place).
