Description
This is a miniature porcelain decorative vase featuring hand-painted Guangcai style motifs produced in Macau during the late 20th century. The vase is of a baluster form with a flared neck and rim. The exterior is decorated with polychrome enamels over a mottled pale blue-grey ground. The primary decorative elements consist of flowering peony branches with blossoms in shades of pink, red, and blue, accompanied by green foliage. Small, detailed butterflies are painted on the neck and shoulder area. The underside of the base features a circular red overglaze mark with a sunburst border containing the English text ORIENTAL OBJECTS D’ART, MADE IN MACAU, and FOR DECORATIVE NOT FOR FOOD USE. Vertical Chinese characters within the mark read Guangcai (廣彩) and Macau (澳門).

Condition report:
The vase is in excellent condition with no visible chips, cracks, or repairs. There is minor surface wear consistent with age and decorative use.
