Description
This geometric abstract relief painting is by Raúl Mazzoni (1934-2015). The artwork is executed in acrylic on canvas, which is mounted to a board support and integrated into a deep black frame. The composition features large, flat fields of blue and bright lime green separated by sharp, angular lines, with a recessed black geometric cutout providing a three-dimensional element. The paint is applied with a smooth, uniform finish typical of hard-edge abstraction. On the verso, the board bears the handwritten signature Raúl Mazzoni and is dated 2010.

Condition report:
The artwork shows several signs of wear, including prominent white scuffs and abrasions in the lower left blue quadrant. There is a vertical line of paint loss along the left edge of the blue field and minor surface marks and light scratches on the green field. The frame shows minor surface wear.
